These well known and collectible boats are affectionately referred to as U-22's and were made famous as the boat used in the 1980's movie 'On Golden Pond' with Henry & Jane Fonda.  This one is a light project boat that had most of a restoration completed before the money ran out and it was put into storage. It now needs further restoration to complete to whatever level desired.

Immediate post war Sportsmans hull sides were typically planked in Spanish Cedar due to the shortage of Mahogany and were painted usually white but with Mahogany varnished decks.  This is one of those boats. Deck was refinished.

Bottom was refastened.

Comes with a Chris-Craft 283 ci - 185 hp FWF V8 engine (non-original). New fuel tank installed.

Upholstery done during previous restoration.
